Tourmaline – Tourmaline’s been a popular gemstone throughout the ages and its wide range of colors makes it a very versatile gemstone that comes in every color under the sun. Tourmaline variety names include Green Tourmaline, Chrome Tourmaline, Blue Tourmaline, Paraiba Tourmaline, Red and Pink Tourmaline, Watermelon Tourmaline, and Canary Tourmaline.
Tourmaline is a protective stone. It is believed to bring relaxation and calmness and to heal one from stress and trauma.
Peridot – also called the volcanic gemstone. The stone can be found in a few different shades and while peridot is known for its lime-green color, you can also find stones with yellow and brown hues.
Symbolizing strength and courage, peridot is believed to have protective powers and to help the wearer overcome depression, anger, jealousy and anxiety, as well as provide peace from nightmares. Peridot is also thought to strengthen life and attract wealth and growth.
Garnet – Garnet is transparent and exhibits a glassy luster, it comes in a variety of colors like red, burgundy, orange, brown, green, and even black. Garnets that are vivid red in color are more valuable than others, with a few exceptions such as the brilliant green varieties. Aquamarine – Well known for its varying blue hues from light, nearly translucent blue to a deep rich blue, aquamarine has always been associated with calmness and cleansing. Fire Opal – As one of the most breathtakingly beautiful gemstones, the ever-so-striking opal is known to form from the rain. The color play that makes opal so unique is often referred to as color flash or fire. More prominent and brighter colors are typically more desirable and more expensive. Red and orange are rarer than blue and green, so they tend to be priced a bit higher.
White Opal – white precious opal has an iridescent “play-of-color”, common white opal does not. Depending on the conditions in which it formed, opal may be transparent, translucent, or opaque. White precious opal is the happiest of the opals, radiating optimism and good humor, enthusiasm, imagination and creativity.
Black Obsidian – Black Obsidian is generally completely opaque with a nice, crystal shine to it. It’s clear from any inclusions. As volcanic glass, it has a vitreous and a glassy luster. Black obsidian protects you from shadow traits — addiction, fear, anxiety, and anger– by acting as a mirror to your inner self.
Silver Obsidian – a black or deep brown Obsidian displaying a silver-gray iridescent sheen when polished and viewed in strong light. The elements that get trapped in the rapid cooling process of Silver Sheen Obsidian make it unique because it carries a higher vibration than regular Obsidian. It is known to calm the mind, encourage exploration, and expand consciousness. Add TTT silver obsidian necklaces and bracelets to your Natural Stone Collection.
Onyx – typically occurs in banded alternating colors. Apart from black and white, some other popular banded onyx varieties are sardonyx which has a brown base layer and a lighter upper layer and cornelian onyx. Onyx is a protective stone that keeps pessimism away and rids you of unhappy relationships. It helps in improving memory, reduces stress, and brings balance to the mind.
Agate – comes in a variety of colors, such as red, yellow, pink, blue, orange, black, gray, rainbow, and even banded. Chrysoprase is a crystal of the heart that restores emotional balance and fostering an ability to accept change. It has metaphysical properties for healing as well as being a stone to attract new love, abundance and prosperity.
Lapis lazuli – is normally a mixture of three minerals: lazurite, pyrite and calcite. Lazurite is the most prominent mineral contained in lapis and is responsible for the vibrant blue color of the stone.
Pyrite is silver or gold in color and is responsible for the small shiny flecks often seen on the surface of lapis.
Calcite is another component and it is white in color. An abundance of calcite will appear as a white streak or thin line on the surface of the stone.
Lapis lazuli is used to encourage self-confidence, self-knowledge, self-awareness, peace and harmony, making you in a good mood throughout the day.
Jade – mostly known for its green varieties, though it appears naturally in other colors as well, notably yellow and white.
Jade can refer to either of two different silicate minerals: nephrite or jadeite. Jadeite is rarer, more expensive and found in a range of beautiful colors. Nephrite is commonly found and therefore more affordable. However, nephrite is slightly tougher than jadeite as its structure is denser.
Jadeite color ranges from white through pale apple green to deep jade green but can also be blue-green, pink, lavender and a multitude of other rare colors. Jadeite is a symbol of prosperity, wealth, purity and beauty. It symbolizes love, healing and courage. Jade is a special stone that promotes wisdom, balance, and peace.
